Hello there peeps A trip to the theatre is on offer this time around! Star Light Express on Thursday 1st June at 7.30pm. Tickets are between £5 - £34, but for decent viewing the £30 seats seem to be the best bet! Can you let me know if you'd like to come by Monday 22nd May please.
Well the third meeting of Bi Norwich was fun. :) I hope we didn't lose anyone with our last minute switch of venue from the Catherine Wheel as promised back to the Castle - the combination of sun + beer garden proved irresistible.Forthcoming plans include a Sunday lunch at a nice pub by the river, hopefully this will mean that a couple of people who find evening trips to Norwich awkward will be able to come. Probably the Sunday after next but this will be confirmed later.
Thursday 4th May 8pm at the Catherine Wheel on St Augustines Street.Hope to see you there :)
May 6th is London Bifest. I will certainly be going. Check out the details and if it takes your fancy we could even share a train journey down there. Remember to book your train ticket in advance to get cheap fares. Hope to see you there! Bisexual speed dating *chortles* that last one was great :)
Well the second meeting boasted five people - it was great to see a couple of new faces - and not even from LJ. (!) There's a whole world out there you know...Anyway we all seemed to talk non-stop and drumble and I stayed out far too late. I think the next meeting will be at the C. Wheel but this will be confirmed by email next month. We all agreed that we don't have to restrict ourselves to once monthly meetings. Once a month is all that Drumble, very sensibily, will commit to. One good idea was that if you are going to the theatre/a gig/cinema and would like some company along you could email binorwich and we'll circulate the details around the group. Thanks to softfruit we now have an official web page; http://norwich.bi.org/ so please publicise that - and contribute too of course!
Hey there! Next meeting is Thursday 6th April at 8pm at The Castle. Let check out the new decor and answer such burning questions as 'will the carpet still be sticky?' and 'will there be room to swing a mini pool cue?' But whatever - you can bet your socks there will be more bi-folk there than usual!Hope to see you on thurs night.
Welcome to the first post of Bi Norwich! First off how did it get started? Last summer drumble and I went, separately, to BiCon in Worcester and had a fabulous time and made lots of friends. Personally that was a bit of a surprise as I'd never felt that 'bisexual' was a defining part of my identity - just something I was. But I discovered more people I instantly 'clicked' with than I had for years. In an effort to keep that wonderful vibe alive drumble has got busy and motivated putting posters up around town and passing them on to groups like WOW, the lesbian line, UEA LGBT group and Ten. She manages the email account and the monthly meetings. So if you've chatted to me online and the email you get seems to be from a different person that's the reason. Honest. I'm just doing my bit out here in LJ land and would like to emphasise that this group is for you all. Although I'll moderate where necessary, please let me know if you would like other interests listed for the group (or removed?) other bits of blurb...just feel free to chip in.That was the warmer. I'd now like to ask for help please. I would like to make these pages look pretty but don't have a lot of time, or to be honest, knowledge. So if you can help me out customising these pages and making suitable icons that would be fantastic and very much appreciated. Our first meeting was last Thursday and I found it amazing that LJ can materiase real people into a pub. Wow. And I know there's more of ya out there. Come on. Don't be shy :)
